I have finally decided to add Dreamstime to the collection of stock libraries that I supply work to. The control panel is really easy to use and provides a whole range of ways to market yourself. The royalties you receive from Dreamstime are quite competitive and their subscription rates for image buyers are very reasonable compared to some of the other names in Stock Imagery. I was recently talking to an image buyer who heads up a small design agency and he was saying that a lot of subscriptions had recently doubled and in some cases trebled and he is now trying Dreamstime for the first time as their images are equal to those on other major stock libraries. As a photographer I want to work in an environment that is fair both to the image buyer and the photographer. Squeezing the purses of image buyers isn’t going to help us photographers so it is important that we choose to work were possible with a range of stock libraries that can provide a fair system for all. If you are looking for fairer services to buy from and sell from then it is also worth checking out Picfair.
I am still in the process of adding work to Dreamstime but you can see here some of the work that is now available.
